Pictures from space for one, the laws of gravity for two and the curved horizon for three - not to mention the planes that fly and ships that sail around the world on a regular basis.
Not only that, but now that we have access to space, the easiest way to prove the Earth is spherical is to leave it and view it from a distance. Astronauts and space probes have done just that. Every picture of Earth ever taken shows only a circular shape and the only geometric solid which looks like a circle from any direction is a sphere.
One of the oldest proofs of the Earth's shape, however, can be seen from the ground and occurs during every lunar eclipse. The geometry of a lunar eclipse has been known since ancient Greece. When a full Moon occurs in the plane of Earth's orbit, the Moon slowly moves through Earth's shadow. Every time that shadow is seen, its edge is round. Once again, the only solid that always projects a round shadow is a sphere.

Have three people stand in points on our Earth, each separated by several kilometers but visible to another by bright lights. Each on a mountain top would be adequate.
Have each person simultaneously and very precisely measure the angle between the other two observers, and add up all three measurements.
If we were living on a flat surface, the sum of those three angles would be 180 degrees. If we are living on a curved surface, the sum of those three angles would not be 180 degrees.
When the measurements are done (and they have been, many times), the results are consistent with a round Earth.
Well, during a lunar eclipse, you can see a shadow of the earth. The shadow is curved, so the earth must be round. If this doesn't help you, ask NASA, look in a book, or actually go up into space to find out yourself. :)
1) We have a horizon, meaning we cannot see all the surface of the Earth
2) During a lunar eclipse the shadow of the Earth is round
3) Photographs from space
4) People actually traveled around the Earth
5) You can see all the planets are round, why should we be any different?
The Earth was first proved to be round by Magellan when he sailed around the world. It can also be mathematically proven by taking two long poles and placing them in the ground (so they point straight up) at two different locations (either east to west or north to south, both will work). When it is exactly noon at one of the poles, mark where the tip of the shadow is on the ground for both the poles. You will see that there is a difference in their shadows and from this can calculate the size of the round earth.
1) if you view a tall masted ship approaching from miles off shore you will note if you observe carefully that the top of the mast appears before the rest of the ship grandually comes into view. 2) when the astronauts looked down from the first space mission they said, "it's a circle" 3) if you travel far enough in one direction you will return to the same spot once you have travelled across the entire globe.
aerial photograph shows that the earth is spherical
Pictures from space clearly showing that the earth is round.
Well very easy. Our Earth is rotating or spinning. You just can't see it or feel it spinning. Why? Gravity. Gravity is a force that pull down. No one knows what gravity is they just know that it is a force that pulls on us. Okay, so when it's sunny outside you stand and behind is a shadow. Tell a parent or friend to trace your shaadow. Know wait for 1 hour and see the difference. The Earth was spinning. You just can't feel it because of gravity.
A very simple method that requires no complex mathematics, long-distance travel, or high-altitude flight would simply be to find somewhere very high and observe that you can see much further (even across featureless, flat ground) than at a lower level.
You might also observe distant objects appear to fall away over the horizon as you descend.
But then, they could always just be falling off the edge of the Earth, couldn't they?
Understanding a little about gravity helps too - if the Earth were flat, people standing toward the outer edges of it would be walking at an odd angle indeed; they would be drawn toward the centre of mass such that walking toward the edge would feel like an uphill climb with an increase incline.
For several more methods, please see the related link (below).
many many years ago people used to think that earth is square and they will fall if they go walking continuously but some people started a voyage from one point but the didn't knew the proper way so they just went going straight and found that they were again at the same point were they started
That bight light that shines your day for about 12-13 hours doesn`t move. That`s your anchor!
additional. And you'll have seen photos of all the stars rotating about the north pole at night. Thus you have the alternatives of the Earth spinning, or the Universe spinning. Go for the simplest solution.
Both the Earth and Sun are roughly spherical and rotate on an axis. Both have satellite bodies and revolve around a larger mass (Earth around the Sun in the solar system, the Sun as part of the Milky Way Galaxy). Both have mass that imparts gravity. Although the Earth has a higher percentage of heavier atoms (iron, aluminum, oxygen) compared to the Sun (mostly hydrogen, some helium) both contain at least some of the same chemical elements. Each is also hotter at its core than its surface.
all the planets and heavenly bodies including sun is revolving around earth . Also earth is flat instead of spherical are superstitious believes of the solar system.
A reflecting telescope should have a parabolic mirror in which case there is no spherical aberration. The process of turning a spherical mirror surface into a parabolic one is called 'figuring'.
evidence that supports the conjecture that the Earth is rotating
It was Copernicus's theory and Galileo had very little evidence for it at the time of his quarrel with the Vatican, as he discovered when they put him on trial and asked for the evidence.
an eclipse is a evidence of the earth being in spherical shape is that it can figure it self...
The Earth isn't actually perfectly spherical. It is slightly flattened at the poles. To find evidence of Earth's round shape, pictures taken from space are good secondary data to provide evidence.
cause man a bad man
WHAT demonstrates that the Earth is spherical?!
The Earth is geoid THE EARTH IS SPHERICAL
Lunar, because the Earth's shadow on the moon is always round, so the Earth must be spherical (round as seen from any angle)
The Earth is almost spherical. It's slightly squashed, or oblate.
Coriolis force.
Newton was first claim that the earth is ellipsoid instead of spherical...
moon is the satellite of the earth.
The earth's shape (almost spherical) has absolutely no influence on the seasons, which are associated with the inclination of its axis relative to its orbital plane.
spherical puzzles are similar to globe puzzles. Most globe puzzles have designs representing spherical shapes such as the Earth, the Moon, and historical globes of the Earth.
