"You can plant any time you want even if you have withered plants sitting there for a year. Just plow it again and you'll have a fresh soil to plant."In response to the above contributor statement - It has happened in some cases that half of the plowed ground turned to grass after everything withered. This green space could not be plowed. This was due to farmville loading problems related to an apparent Farmville glitch. In the cases reported within a week the green space turned back into the old crops that were there in the first place.
To fallow/plow land, it costs 15 coins per square. You can also just leave the land un-plowed and it will not cost you anything. However, you won't be able to grow anything if you don't plow it.
Take a piece of bare land (it will be green because there is automatically grass everywhere.PLOW the bare land.Click on the plowed land with the multi-tool (the arrow), and it will bring up a menu from which to choose which seeds to plant. To plow someone else's field in Farm Town on Facebook, you need to visit their farm and look for unplowed land. If they have set their fields to allow friends to plow, you can click on the plowed area to start working on it. Keep in mind that you can only plow fields if the owner has granted permission for friends to do so. If not, you will need to ask them to adjust their settings or help you with their field.
When You Plow, You Need 15 Coins Per Plot Plowed, so that costs money. When You Buy Seeds/Decorations/Anything Else, It Will Also Cost Coins.
