Advancing in the skills Attack, Defense, Strength, Prayer, Magic, Ranged, Constitution (formerly Hitpoints), and Summoning affects your combat level. It usually requires a number of level advances in these skills to advance one combat level.

Please note that the Summoning skill is members only and combat levels gained from your level in this skill will not be shown when playing on free servers.
