To record the PS3 or Xbox 360 you need a device that will be able to record after it leaves the PS3 or Xbox 360 A/V connection. Then so you can see the audio and video to play the game that device needs to be able to output to a TV system. I'm told that some media center PCs that include TV A/V connections can both record and show the video and audio signals from a game console. It can not be done with a S video cable on my system because I do not have S Video inputs on my Media Center Computer
S-video is a video only cable, you must add an a extra audio cable.
short answer is VGA
it allows you to have video input to your computer such as coax, svideo, etc (depends on the card) usually these are used to watch or record television programs on your PC. The only version of windows with built in functionality for this type of card is Media Center Edition, otherwise there are 3rd party programs that come with the hardware that allow you to view the input.
DSC-TX1 hasn't got a computer charger. It only has a standalone battery charger, and a USB-Svideo combo cable, to upload your pictures. You cannot charge via this cable.

Netflix is a movie program to watch movies that you can stream. Also you could connect your computer straight to your TV via svideo or hdmi ports.
An S-Video Port.
No, there isn't. This camera doesn't have any USB connector built in. You have a S-Video output, AV mini-jack output and a mini-minijack for power. The only way to connect it is through minijack-AV cable or through Svideo-Svideo cable.
Look on the side or the back of your machine for a SVIDEO out port. If it has...buy the SVIDEO out cable that connects to your TV's or projector's RCA-in. You can also buy what is called a VGA adapter. This is a much better device as it is a multi-port device and it plugs into your VGA port of your machine...normally blue in color where you connect a monitor to) on the side or back of machine. The VGA adapter connects VGA-in and RCA-out to TV or projector. Both these items are available. If you have a Connection for the psp svideo to composite you can use it to connect to the television, however the resulting output will not be in HD.
HDMI is a digital connection that transports video up to High Definition and multi-channel audio. S-Video is an analogue connection that transports video in standard definition and with no audio.
If your computer has a Svideo output, it simply a case of plugging a cable between your TV and PC and selecting desktop spanning in your graphics settings. If your TV and graphics card have a spare VGA port, you can set up a far higher quality link by using the same method as before, except with a VGA cable.
