Be very careful, why do you think you need to remove it? It is a component of Windows update. There are some bad or infected versions out there.
Run a good anti-malware program such as SuperAntiSpyware or MalwareBytes. If it is a bad file, they will tell you.

Another way to delete it is to use Command Prompt, and type in C:\WINDOWS
then type the command del "wuauclt.exe" and you should be free from it upon restart of the computer - This is true, but it is a bad idea.
