The Recycle Bin. Here is what worked for me. First I turned off windows system restore. Second I ran Spybot S&D and Adawae thirds I did a search for c2mdz in the registry and deleted the key lastly I deleted the folder cd2ndz under program files that finally cured it. good luck
If you've deleted your Windows 8 program files by mistake, you can do a recovery and put it back to factory settings. Make sure you backup your files before doing so.
Windows has a Search my Files Utility that will help you find your duplicate files in a special search mode that allows finding duplicate files when in Duplicate Search Mode.
My experience is that you cannot play the files you have downloaded once you have deleted Limewire. I just did. I do not have limewire any longer.

Formatting doesn't delete the files. It Replaces the file that tells windows where the files are. The files are only accesible using special software and wont show up in windows explorer.
