I assume that you posted this last fall (07). Rhodo's shrivel up in the winter when it becomes cold to protect their juices. You'll notice differing degrees of "shrivellry" depending on the temp. Don't fertilize it without giving it a good drink first...wait a few days and give it a very diluted mixture of Miracle Gro or similiar.

Ants can cause the plant to die, they seem to get to the roots and this somehow straves the plant. Jeyes fluid diluted seems to have helped revive the plants.
