You cannot that I know of. For one thing, the ps3 operating system is not an open operating system that allows its user to install random software like windows or linux does.

For another thing, running software made for windows (or any x86 system, which is what most game emulators are programmed for) requires an x86 emulator to run on the cell processor of the PS3. So you would need to use an x86 emulator (like qemu) on linux and from there run the gaming emulator.

I believe there are some super Nintendo emulators that will run on linux on the PS3 without qemu, for example, snes9x.

But no, you cannot simply run an emulator from the ps3 without linux. The Ps3 operating system will not run executable files like windows does.

How do you get your PlayStation 3 out of Linux without turning it on?

If the PS3 isn't on, it's not "in" Linux.

How do you emulate PC games on PlayStation?

The PlayStation (or Playstation2, or PlayStation 3) simply does not have enough processing power to emulate most Windows games in real-time. If you have the PS2 Linux kit or a fat PS3, you can install Linux, and then run Windows inside an emulator called QEMU. This will be extremely slow and probably unusable for most games beyond Solitaire.

Can you ue flipnote for PC?

No, but you can go to romulation.net and search for a flipnote.nds (rom file) and then download it. But inorder to use the rom file you must download a no$gba emulator or a DeSmuMe emulator and then open the rom file from there. Best of wishes to you to get to play around with flipnote on your PC. *If you have a Macintosh or Linux computer, you may google or yahoo search "flipnote .nds rom for mac" and "DesSmuMe emulator for mac" [or] "no$gba emulator for mac" or "flipnote .nds rom for linux" and "DeSmuMe emulator for Linux" and "no$gba emulator for linux".

Can you get World of Warcraft on ds?

No, you can not get World of Warcraft on the Nintendo DS. It is only available officially for the MAC and PC operating systems. Unofficially, it can be used on some Linux systems with a windows emulator.

Can you play PlayStation games on a Nintendo DS with an emulator and Linux for DS?

No. The Nintendo DS's hardware is not powerful enough to emulate a PlayStation. It barely even has enough power to run Linux. Putting a PlayStation emulator on DSLinux, even if it worked, would be like surfing a snail on molasses. For a comparison, look at the SNES emulators already created for the DS. They're slow. Emulating them even on a PC usually takes at least a 500 MHZ Pentium III for a decent framerate. PlayStation games usually require a minimum of a 1 GHz processor on a PC to render at a playable framerate.Don't forget that it's also not just about clockspeed, but the actual integer and floating point MIPS. The PlayStation used a powerful (at the time) MIPS processor, a chip often used in servers and and engineering workstations. The DS uses an ARM chip, which is designed for low power consumption, not performance. A chip of almost any architecture wil perform far faster than an ARM chip at the same clockrate.AnswerThe original PlayStation's CPU is clocked at about 38mhz, whereas the DS' CPU is about 63mhz. Although running DSLinux and an emulator at the same time would be very difficult, I don't see why a standalon .nds format emulator could not be made by someone. Graphics in DS games are better than those in a PlayStation game, and the DS has a faster processor. Seems reasonable.

Is World of Warcraft on Playstation 3?

No, World of Warcraft is a PC and MAC game only. Unofficially (unsupported) you can possibly get it to run in the LINUX operating system with some tweaking here and there using a windows emulator.

Is World of Warcraft going to PlayStation?

No, you cannot currently play World of Warcraft on a PS3, it is only for Windows and Mac machines. They are looking into letting you play it on your iPhone, but currently there is barely any information on that. You can also play WoW on a Linux machine, if you use an emulator like Wine.

Can you install Windows XP on a PlayStation 3?

No. PlayStation 3s use a totally different kind of processor from those found in desktops, laptops, and most servers. The only way to run it is in an emulator on top of Linux. This runs very slowly and is not practical for any actual use.

Can you have Windows XP and then install Yellow Dog Linux and use them both without corrupting the other OS?

Windows XP and Yellow Dog Linux are not capable of being installed on the same computer, unless one is in an emulator. An operating system in an emulator cannot affect the host system. So yes.

Finding Tax Software For Linux?

There are certain versions of tax software made for Linux, although not all programs have been ported to the platform. One of the most effective ways to get tax software for the Linux operating system is to use a software emulator in order to mimic another operating system. This means that when the tax software is run under Linux, the emulator will take control and allow the program to be executed without problems, although some features might not function properly.
