Have it done by a doctor.
Here are some common ways women induce labor at home. I am not giving medical advice, and these aren't surefire solutions, just some things that work for some women to speed up the process.
This really needs to be discussed with your doctor and not the general public who do not know your medical history.
The safest way to induce labor yourself is not to do it. Let medical professionals do that when indicated.
Don't - the baby is not quite ready yet
sex and walking is good try squats and stairs but i would wait till you are at least 38 weeks, just so make sure your babys lungs are fully developed p.s. i have herd male sperm helps soften the cervics
No, full term is not until 37 weeks. after that, taking long walks, helps the baby move down, or having sex, always take water w/you if you are out walking. Ask your Dr about getting induced.
no... its only going to work around your due date if your baby is ready to be born anyway, they dont recomend it as it will give you the runs and who wants to try deal with labour and the runs... very unlikely to work at your due date let alone that early on. do not try and induce labour at 28 weeks as your baby is not delvoloped and maynot survive!
Yes, there are babies who die this late. If you go into labor it's premature labor though and not miscarriage.
It's been a frequently relied on method for starting labor, but it usually only works if you're "ready".
Hi it would depend on the circumstances and it would have to be agreed that the risk to the mother and/or baby is greater if the labour isn't induced. My first baby was stillborn at 35+4 so the decision was made to induce my second baby at 35 weeks gestation but i first had to have this approved by my consultant and have an internal examination. I was given steroid injections to strengthen the babies lungs and we ended up spending 6 days in hospital due to jaundice but we were told to expect to be in hospital for 2 weeks. The best thing to do is to talk to your midwife about any concerns that you have. Ann
If you aren't yet 37 weeks (full term) and having labor symptoms, you need to contact your Doctor!
Talk to your doctor about the options. Maybe have it induced, but first talk to your doctor.
There are 5 weeks in 35 days.
Yes. Very much so! I would definitely check with your doctor and hold off on sex.
Call your OBGYN
No. There are 5 weeks in 35 days.
