Monitoring comes in 2 main styles: Host based and network based -- Host based monitoring software to view netbios connections and monitor requests from unknown ip addresses-especially if they are on the same lan can be helpful; but to be completely sure you are actually seeing traffic to / from the potential system you will need a Network TAP; that way you can watch the system and see if they are malicious packets and other traffic being passed by the network.

∙ 8y agoOkay basicly I was awoken to see that my pc was shutting itself down which it has never done it looked like it was being controlled and I also keep getting bsod which I never get. Someone doxed me a while back since then things have been a little strange.

∙ 14y agoIt's not easy at all, you need to install at least firewall to do so. Firewall will show which applications want to use network. In most cases you can tell if you have some "guests".
