When it comes to piercings, it doesnt matter what your skin tone is. Skin tone does not affect whether or not the piercing will look good. I will say that snakebites look better on people with fuller lips. People with very thin lips do not look right with snakebites.

There is some level of pain, however it is not exceptional. The main concern with snakebites like most piercings is the risk of infection. Snakebites can easily cause infection. But when getting pierced, the pain sensation is present, however the severity isn't particularly great. In the end it all comes down to your personal tolerance for pain though.

No one should, its unatractive and not healthy.I'm a chick and have snakebites, my last 3 boyfriends loved them on me....I think guys look really hot with lip piercings, but I think it depends on your image as well. For example, a jock/college football player would not look cool with snakebites, spiderbites or any other form of lip piercing.And on guys, I don't think it gives the impression that their gay/bi like it does on girls.
