It is possible for coolant to leak out between the motor and transmission, if a freeze plug has been leaking. I had this problem on an old International Travelall I had. The motor will need to be pulled.
coolant leak between motor and transmission indicates you have a leaky freeze plug in the rear of the engine block
Freeze plug at the rear of the motor. Between the transmission and the motor.
It has a failed seal/gasket/freeze plug.
FIRST IT DEPENDS ON THE SIZE OF THE ENGINE AS TO CAPCITY OF COOLANT. THE SR20DE MOTOR HOLDS 6.5 QTS OF COOLANT. THE GA16DE MOTOR HOLDS 5.5 QTS IF IT HAS A MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND 6.0 QTS FOR THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION.
Because there is a fracture or loose connection
It Is caused from The heater Hose Located Under The Intake Manifold ..In Order To repair It You have To remove the Intake Manifold.....
Transmission fluid is a slippery liquid that acts as a lubricant for all of the moving parts inside your transmission. In an automatic transmission, this fluid also serves as a coolant and a viscous fluid that transmits power from the engine to the transmission. Motor oil is a lubricant used in internal combustion engine. they must be put in specific proportions.
it is a transmission .between the motor and driveshart
2 cylinders and 1.2 liters. And probably a lot of zoom!
I'm no expert but possibly the cylinderhead is leaking or cracked dropping water into the engine crankcase via the pistons.
yes, a mixture of coolant and gas can and will ruin your motor
seal. expensive
