You csan't stop the disasters themselves, because the forces of Nature are much greater than Man can conqueur, but you can help to reduce the effects by good planning and suitable precautions in areas where they are known to be likely.

To reduce the frequency of natural disasters, we needed to decrease global warming. We can't decrease volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis because they're not linked to global warming, they're linked to plate tectonics. They are many things to decrease global warming like reduce the use fossil fuels and nuclear energy, use electric or hybrid cars, reduce smoking, put out campfires when finished camping, use less electricity.

Most natural disasters can't be stopped. natural=mother earth. those happen without anybodys fault sometimes they just happen and there's nothing we can do to stop it.
