You can't. The human body needs a constant supply of fresh water, at least at some minimum level.
The trick is being able to FIND very small amounts of water in the desert, such as from dew or from plants, or from a solar still. You also need to be ready to capture rainwater (and avoid flash-flooding areas) if it does happen to shower on you.
