insert the windows vista disc. It will give you an option to upgrade or do a clean install. Choose clean install. It wipes your entire hard drive and installs your new vista, just as you would buy it brand new in a shop! i do this every 6 months, its the only GUARANTEED way, to remove any virus.
If it has the minimum RAM and hard drive space, you can.
It might be possible.
That edition of Windows Vista does not exist. Windows Vista exists in two editions for home users: Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows Vista Home Premium.
If you upgrade the system through the windows 7 installation menu, it's supposed to keep everything. If you do a fresh install, all your data on the system disk will be lost.
Vista Home Premium : Not Linux! Get linux! Vista Business : Not Linux! Get linux!
No, it is compatiable with vista home premium, I have had it.
No. Also, note concerning Windows Vista - you must also be sure that Vista will run on the old hardware (it probably will not) before you try to install it. Also, Vista was one of the worst versions of Windows that Microsoft ever released it is 'huge' and buggy.
a windows vista is an upgrade for a normal windows it can still do everything but it is just a bit more high tech

You can not install IE6 on Windows Vista.
THere is no such OS called windows premium., but in vista there are many flavours called vista basic, home premium and vista ultimate. In these variations the higher you go the more extra features u get and obviously the more you pay for it. LIke vista basic does have windows aero and home premium does not have dream scenes, bit locker etc which ultimate has., but the basic OS is the same. :)
