You simply talk to her about using tampons as you would talk to her about anything else. You do respect your moms choice if she is not okay with you using tampons, given health risks of tampon use (which are increased in pre-teens and teens) she has to be the one to decide if you're responsible enough to use tampons safely and understand the risks.
Once you have your *period* your mom will give you a pad or tampon. She will tell you all about the period.
You cannot do this, it would be embarrassing for you, so wear a tampon, or stay out of the pool.
Talk with your adult caregiver (mom if she is in the picture) or a trusted adult female. Every young woman faces this and women are happy to help you.
I was listening to my mom talk.
Use a tampon or just skip. I do gymnastics and I find using a tampon works great. Just make sure to talk to an adult first. plus depending on the sport you can wear little spankies. Hope this helps
"Look, mom, this is obviously awkward, because I'm your daughter, but no daughter would EVER wanna have to talk about this, but I'm just gonna say it: Because I need to and am not (obviously) six or younger, I need to go tampon shopping. Any questions?" ~ say that ~ hope it helps =) ~
No.
A tampon cannot really get stuck at all. A tampon can go no further than your vaginal canal, it can't be pushed any higher than that. As long as you are using a tampon and relaxed upon removal the tampon will come out.
Find out about their mom and talk about her.
it is completely fine (:
You can get toxic shock syndrome.
I hope you are not wearing a tampon when not on a period. This is unhealthy and if you are just starting your period you should not be using a tampon until you are older. The tampon box gives written as well as a diagram of how to put in a tampon. Follow the directions and read the warnings. This is very important.
