Tame it!
No it will kill the cat. Do not try
If you buy a dog when its a puppy, the cats will not be afraid. The dog will try to attack, but the cat will stand up to the dog. Therefore respect is made!
You can't make your dog like your cat. To at least make them comfortable with each other: try to let your dog sniff your cat and have them do many things together. I have tried this with my cat and dog to be sure it works.
No i believe that you cant but you can try downloading petz workshop and make a dog look like a cat :)
If you keep things away from a dog, but keep it in view, it could learn to not try to eat it
first of all don't even try doing that because you could kill the cat.
Maybe, maybe not. You should keep a tortoise away from a cat and dog unless the cat or dog will try to attack it.
Of course, but you must be very careful. Make sure it is out of the dog's reach, and the covering is heavy enough to stop the cat from getting into it. A cat will surely kill them if given chance. A dog may or may not be inclined to, depending on breed (terriers were bred to kill rats for example), but definitely don't try to introduce the gerbil to the dog, just in case. My dog loved to watch the gerbils in their enclosure, but I would never have let her get in a position where she could touch them.
If a cat attacks your dog, you should try to separate them without getting hurt yourself. You can use a loud noise or water to distract them, or try to gently push the cat away. It's important to keep calm and not escalate the situation. If your dog is injured, seek veterinary help immediately.
Why not try flea powder or give your dog a bath using flea shampoo to get rid of your dog's fleas?
Due to your cat being eight years old she might be already stubborn and set in her ways. The only thing I can suggest to try is to try giving them their treats at the same time and only let them have the treats when they stand close together and withdraw them when the cat hisses at the dog. Hopefully this will eventually work. It's like positive and negative reinforcement. Give it time, time and then more time. I was able to get a mature cat and a young dog that wanted to kill the cat to live happily ever after. You have to let the cat call the shots. When we first brought the dog home - and after he went for the cat and chased her into the cellar - we didn't see the cat for a week or so. We coaxed her out of her hiding place and then set her up in a barricaded walk-in closet. She lived in the closet for several months (she had her litterbox and everything else she needed. There were a few shelves and a window). The dog & cat could see each other but the dog couldn't get at the cat. Any time the
You might try a Siamese cat. Some say that they are the most dog-like of cats.
