Even then, the food could contain small amounts of GMOs due to GMO crops cross pollinating with organic or non GMO crops.

You don't know when the foods containing GMOs are not labeled, unless the food is labeled "Non GMO Project" or "100% organic." Even then, they might contain small amounts of GMOs due to contamination during processing or cross pollination from GM crops while growing in the field.
