How can you tell if a baby rabbit is male or female?

Baby rabbits are born with a penis or vagina. Male rabbits keep their penises inside them, and it pops out when they are ready to mate. Until a rabbit's testicles drop (when they're born, the testicles are inside the abdomen), it is very difficult to tell if a rabbit is male or female. Carefully turn them upside down and gently use your thumb and forefinger to carefully push up the fur away from their..."butt". Then slowly push down and you will see the "holes". For males, the upper hole should look like a circle-shaped hole. The females' upper holes should look like a tiny vertical line. If the rabbit is over 6 months old, the males should have two bumps under the upper hole.

it depends on the age.... but a male has two pink testicles and a female does not. if the rabbits are babies it will take a few months to find out. It is very very difficult to tell the difference between baby male and female rabbits -- probably you will have to wait until the rabbit is older. First you have to spend good time with your rabbit, to the point where it lets you grab it. Then you can grab it and sit down on a chair or bed. If the bunny starts to feak and get out of your arms or something dont drop it cause that will cause serios harm or even death to your bunny. Anyways, sit down on the chair or the bed and put the bunny on your lap. then kinda grab it and kinda make it lay on his back. Ps. you might need another person to help you hold the bunny. And then the other person will hold it still. ( By pressing SOFTLY on its belly * if they press to hard the bunny may throw up and choke on its vomit because of his position.*) Anyway hell softly press on his belly and you need to maybe feel inbetween its legs when you find a rough spot, kinda get its fur out of the way and you will be able to see a pink little spot. Put your pointer finger on top of its pink thing. But dont touch it. Then put your thumb on the bottom of the pink thing but still dont touch it. Then kinda drag your pointer finger up and thumb down. If a little slingy thing comes out then its a boy if nothing comes out then its a girl. And if this doesnt work then you problably need to wait till the bunny is older.

u flip the rabbit upside down and it will freak out a little bit so just calm it down buy petting it for a little bit. then by its tall there's a little thingy and u put a little bit of pressure on it and if white stuff sort of comes up its a boy and if it a girl it wont have it and as the boy gets older it will develop a ball sack looking thingy

By looking at its "hole" behind, the opening is more circular on boys, where as girls are more oval.

It is not easy to distinguish between them at an early age though.

Not even the act of "mating" is a certain sign of a rabbit being a male as females does this too (the male way), supposedly as a method of showing who's boss.
