I don't think so... I'll expand on the answer left by someone previously. I've never heard (from any member of the Eastern Star about having to ride a goat. As a member of two Eastern Star different chapters I can tell you that I never had to ride a goat, nor did anyone else I've watched being initiated. This is one of those silly hoaxes made up by someone to either be goofy, or to discourage people from their interest in the organization.
