Generally speaking spells are not placed on homes.
I have heard of spells used to sell a home, some set to protect a home from a specific danger (lightening, fire, theft, negative energies) and some used to find a new home but I know of no spells set on a home that would survive longer than the occupancy of the residence by the person who set it.
It is not beyond the realm of possibility that someone might have placed a spell on a home that is not theirs but it is highly unlikely.
