If you are noticing any abnormal behavior or appearance in your fish you may have a sick or dying fish. In my experience they start to turn white. If you notice this then make sure the filter is working (I'd put a new cartridge in) and you may want to change it's water. There are other signs for different things that may be wrong with the fish.
I don't think you can. The only way to tell is that your fish get sick first.
The fish will more likely seem gloom or get way excited when you come by. Or another way is if your fish doesn't want to eat, or come out of the shadows. Your fish COULD be love sick too.
no, wild fish must get sick if they eat fish food
Fish stick?
I don't really know but what you can do is ask your teacher they can get you sick if the fish itself is sick

yes if a fish has the disease and you eat the fish the disease doesn't go away you can be sick but not always Save
Many fish will start to eat another fish if that fish is sick. If your fish's partner is sick, he will eat her until she is dead. I know it's weird, and the only reason I can think of as why they would do that is because they dont want the other one to suffer as much? My fish ate my other fish cuz it was sick.
