How do you tell if your foot is broken bruised or fractured?

Well first, if it's broken you will be bruised, swollen and unable to walk.
If you sprained it it'll be about the same as fractured, which means pain, but DO NOT continue walking on it, because it will get worse. Go see a doctor and get xrays.

∙ 11y agoIt will hurt BADLY if it's broken or fractured. Try not to walk on it then. If iit's bruised, then dont touch it.

There is no way to tell if your foot is broken or fractured without a doctor using an x-ray for further investigation.

I am now on crutches with a boot for a month. So if I were you, I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. Then probably you will get crutches. My foot was still bruised 3 weeks later.

You can't instantly tell that your finger is fractured, as with me, because right now i am suffering with a fractured middle finger. There are some symptoms assoicated with it though. In my case my finger swelled around about 2-3 times its normal size, its bruised around the area, tender around the area and in some cases it can look deformed (bent to one side) as with me.
