Depends on how big it is!red eared sliders can get very big.
by ya face
You can tell by looking at their claws. A female red eared slider's claws are shorter, much shorter, than a male reed eared slider's claws. This is most likely for fighting.
For Red Eared Turtles a female has short nails and a male as long sharp nails.
to see if a red eared slider is a boy or girl, look at the claws and tail. if they r long it is a girl. if they r short it is a boy. I know because I have two of them
flat bottom shell female, indented bottom shell male, he has to be able to stay mounted
if it stays on dry land and if its a water turtle.u will need to take it back. And get a dumb one
Masculine turtles usually:* have (slightly) concave plastron and convex carapace * have a bigger tail
females have a shorter tail and males have longer ones and the same goes for there claws
Use a thermometer ! You, as a keeper, should know the temperature ranges suitable for a RES.
You're the guy that asked god knows how many questions about red eared sliders aren't you? Sorry. Anyway no one can tell you what month exactly. Just know they lay their eggs in spring. Geckomaster P.S. To get all this info your looking for just find a good website on google or something.
I would say no. They may be turtles with small brains but they are smart, I can tell, and even if their buddy died I doubt they'd eat him. Once, after a few days of not feeding my turtles since I was forced to make them eat cucumber slices to cure my smaller one, the bigger turtle took a snap at the other one's head, but I am unsure if this is out of hunger or out of annoyance. But still, I think they are not cannibals.
