Search no futher she is definitely using heroin (if it indeed was her spoon) , as it is about the only intravenous street drug I know of that requires "cooking". This is achieved by placing the drug and a small amount of water in the spoon , then heating it slowly with a lighter or match or what ever floats your boat.when the mixture separates slightly leaving a clearish somewhat oily fluid ontop( the cut and garbage turn black and sink to the bottom). The person will then place a small piece of cotton in the spoon and place the tip of the syringe on top lightly and draw up the drug into the syringe thereby filtering anything else leftover on the cotton. A dab of cool water is usually added so that you don't burn your vein as most will not want to wait until it cools enough to inject.If she left a burnt bottom spoon around this indicates that she is either one who enjoys getting absolutley flattened by the " fix" because she was to out of it to clean up or over looked it she was so high... or she is really new at it and hasn't learned the potency of her supplier and is having trouble judging just how much to do to enjoy it ( pardon the term) without going over the edge into almost "OD'd".I haven't done any for many years but it is a very dangerous drug , it will kill you if you do too much and no one is around to administer the standard CPR to restart the heart and breathe for you so you don't wake up a "tard"..... the withdrawals are vicious, but i strongly suggest getting it over with in the usual 4 to 6 days.
