Is should have the word "Colt" on it somewhere.
The Book of Colt Firearms has what you are looking for.
usuall on the barrel will be encribed the maker. If colt, it will indicate Colt ptd firearms, etc, etc
value is based on overall condition and gun model...................
Check Colt firearms website on how to order a"Factory letter". This will tell you who Colt shipped the gun to. After that, you'll have to search the owners.
Depending on the type of gun and how close you were there will be a wound with blood coming out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not unless the maker says it is safe to do so.
I can, and do. However, it will depend on the law where YOU are- and you did not tell us where that is.
All guns should have the information stamped onto the barrel. Most of the time it is near the action. Look on the barrel of your shot gun and it should tell you the make, model, caliber (or in your case with a shot gun) the gauge, for shot guns the size of shell the gun takes, and finally the choke the shot gun has. If it is a screw on choke it should saw on it.
There is no way to answer since you did not provide a serial number. You can call Colt and they will tell you. The Blue Book of Gun Values has sn data as does the Colt website.
No way to tell with just the sn.
You can call Colt and give them the serial number or you can look it up in the Blue Book of Gun Values.
all colt SAA pistols have serial numbers. If the serial number was filed off then the gun is Illegal to have, and without serial can't tell when made...............
