There is no difference. Pet shops give them fancy names to make them sound special/exclusive, it makes people pay more. There are 3 kinds of dwarf hamster.
Roborovski dwarf
Winter white
Russian Campbell
There is also a Chinese Dwarf Hamster but they are not a true dwarf hamster (genetically speaking)
I'd advise you to go to a hamster breeder, they know more what they are doing, or even better, a rescue. Good luck.
Sapphire is not a type of hamster, instead it is a colour. A winter white can be agouti (prominent grey) coloured, sapphire (smokey grey) or pearl (white). Therefore, a winter white which is sapphire coloured is the same species as a winter white which is pearl coloured. The only difference is, they are coated in different coloured fur.
The winter dwarf hamster and the Russian dwarf have a slight of a different color, and in the winter the winter white dwarf turns white.
The winter white has a brownish color to it, but a Russian dwarf is a grayish white color.
If you buy a winter white (or siberian) dwarf hamster during the winter, it is white with a light gray stripe on its back. The color of a winter white dwarf hamster's coat depends on your hamster. You have to wait until spring or summer to see. :)
There are two kinds of Russian Hamsters: Winter White and Campbells. They may be able to breed with each other.
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
Call your local pet stores
All Dwarf hamster are short-haired. The Russian Dwarf, Winter White, Chinese Dwarf, Roborovski's dwarf, etc. The long-haired hamsters are Syrians.
I prefer winter white.
It is a winter hamster
Perhaps the hamster is asleep.
No, the name of the hamster is Russian Winter White Dwarf Hamster. They aren't actually born in Russia unless you get them imported from there or buy it directly from there.

It might be a winter white or a Russian dwarf or a robo hamster.
No
No. One is a Syrian Hamster, the other is a Dwarf Hamster. They are not the same species, they are not even the same genus.
i also have a winter gold hamster.when it is still small it has golden fur but as it grows older it starts to turn greyish.the reason is probably this that winter white hamster mated wif the hamster that people normally buy.
You probably have a winter white dwarf hamster. In the winter, their fur is white. In the warmer seasons, it is brown or gray. Lucky you -- winter whites are adorable and sweet!
Yes, many dwarf hamsters are white even if it isn't winter - and it isn't just Russian Winter White Dwarf Hamster that may turn white in the winter. Some hamsters just are white.
if it is winter dont keep your hamster near a window or any cold places. try and make your hamster as warm as possible.if its cold it will probably get ill and probably will die. We dont want that to happen do we!
