Cochin chickens cannot be sexed based on their feathers like some other birds. Only two ways to tell, one is by waiting until they are about a month old and the cockerels start to form wattles or by vent sexing them. I do not suggest the vent sexing method unless you have someone who is experienced in the field helping you. It is difficult to tell the difference to an untrained eye. However if you are set on trying it, remember that it needs to be done quickly as the chicks can get ill from infections. Also the vent sexing method does put a fair amount of stress on them.
All in all, my suggestion is to wait.

yellow Chicks come in many colors. Yellow is know best as many of these live chicks are shown in spring around easter. This is not the only color. The breed of the chick determines color. Right now I have black Cochin chicks. Brown (buff) and white Araucana chicks.

Kochi and Cochin are same. Keralites used to call it Kochi. But the English used to call it Cochin. Recently the government has changed the English name back to Kochi. So Kochi = Cochin

A frizzle is a breed of chicken. It is a mix between a silkie and a cochin.
Cochin's are considered "fair" layers. You can reasonably expect 3 to 5 small brown eggs per week out of a buff. Cochin's are popular show birds and excellent mothers/brooders. Robust and hardy the Cochin is peaceful and easy to handle. They make excellent foster moms to incubated chicks. Free range birds can get foot problems as mud and snow will cling to the feathers around the feet. Wonderful birds even if they don't produce that many eggs.
