When you drink it, there is no fizz. You can also shake an unopened bottle and look at the bubbles. If bubbles move from the bottom of the bottle to the top, the pop is not flat.
Fizzy pop weighs more than flat pop because the carbon dioxide gas bubbles in the fizzy pop add to its overall density. When the bubbles escape and the pop goes flat, it loses some of its volume and therefore weighs less.
Well in my suggestion I think pop is an onomatopoeia so of course pop doesn't go flat.
