Look on the back of the coin near the rim at roughly the 8:00 position. If there is a small D it was minted in Denver, S means San Francisco, and blank means Philadelphia.

to tell if a dollar is fake look closely at it and there should be little red/blue "hair" looking parts on it hope this helped
