If you don't have a dyno to test the engine on, you could take it to the dragstrip. You'll need to know how much it weighs and the mph at the quarter mile.
Then use this calculator: http://www.competitiondiesel.com/Phil/bg/
Check the injector (inside the throttle body)
It will fit, providing you will do all the modifications. Got a Ford, stay with Ford. If you want a 350, then get a Chevy.
Is there a manual to rebuild a 350 turbo transmission on a 1977 Chevy Truck on line that I can order or down load for free I think if you got to Chevy truck parts .com you can find one
one guy tried but he died a strange death when a mummy came and got him
depends of what kind of cooling system setup you got, but normally around 190 degress
factory HP in pre-1988 - - around 280-300 HP depending on carb. Nascars 350's - - over 850 HP.... if you've got the cash.
I've got a '92 w/ the 350 and it's getting 13mpg. What are you getting?
You can find a detailed guide on fixing the motor on forums.hotrod.com/popular-hot-rodding/70/9384835/street/350-chevy-motor-not-running-please-help/
If you got all 4 bolts out then hit it with a hammer. It will come off.
YES! I got a buddy that built one of those. What a toy that was. I think Hooker, or maybe Art Morrison, in Waghington, make a kit. Mounts, supports, and headers.
I get about 20 on my dads 1975 scottsdale 350 2 barrel carb I had a 74 with an engine from a 73 Impala. With headers and performance mufflers it got about 14 on the highway. A 75 would probably be about the same.
I don't know. But i can tell u your problem, you got a Chevy and not a ford or dodge.
