its not actually how recent you have smoke. the tests usually only return a positive if the levels of THC in your body indicate regular usage. so if you quit for a month or so and get completely clean you could smoke a joint every couple weekends and never have enough residual THC in your blood to trip a test. If its for a job you will be fine because there usually easy to pass, if its for probation i'd drink some water its a lot easier to "pass" a "drug" test than completely hide pot use.
