Are you trapping cottontails? Because in some states possesion of wild rabbits is against the law. Get a live trap and bait it with carrots or grain.
No. Most likely they used a dead fall trap.

Beavers, Rabbits, Minks, Otters, Racoons, They Like To Trap Them For Fur Harvesting, But Sometimes They Are Caught Because They Are "Pests"
When its best to hunt rabbits.... Well I'm a hunter myself. Its best to hunt them during the season because when it is hunting season the rabbits are usually hungrier due to cold and lack of food. I trap them with my bait ( a mix of apples, lettuce, and some other things I grow). Anyway the rabbits also have parasites more when its not hunting season.
I won't tell you because then you will most likely have some silly fun killing and murdering rabbits as they're 'pesks' or whatever according to you.
I am sorry to inform you that rabbits are known as a "game animal" not a "fur-bearer". So bottom line is.......... no you cant but whos gonna stop ya the police like they're gonna go out of their way to search and look for snares or traps? So anyway, no it is unlawful. I myself is very disappointing why are you allowed to hunt them but not trap. Well anyway hopes this helps. -B.R

Well the most common plants are the Venus Fly Trap and the Water Picher Trap. The second plant may be under a different name, but the first is possitive. Dr. Grimm
It is a common misconception that rabbits are harmful to the plants they eat. A rabbit is a grazer. They will simply eat a few leaves and move on, leaving the root system intact. I some places their may be a seeming over abundance of rabbits, but this problem tends to right itself overtime. If the rabbits eat the plants before the plants grow back then the lack of food will cause the population to decline until the number of rabbits is compatible with the number of plants available to eat. It is not necessary to trap and remove the rabbits as long as there is patience involved.
