if the codes are stored even with the light removed it will fail because of the stored code when the obd2 or mot
If you take the light out you will fail MOT (mine just has). The light must work to pass MOT. If ABS light stays on then it will also fail. You need to fix the problem. (I have a 2000 323) It is not a sealed dash incidently.
