If you have an Nvidia 8 series or above, you can use your gpu with certain plugins which support CUDA, such as some by LiquidSonics. Most VSTs aren't set up to run with CUDA though, and so won't work. Other people have experimented with transferring the workload of the VST to a GPU, but usually the latency becomes so large, it'd be more effective to use your cpu and wait for the tracks to freeze and just run as audio.
CPU or perhaps the GPU.
It can play many different video formats and it can also convert different video formats to others easily, also it supports GPU acceleration for better video and audio quality.
The GPU is responsible for all the graphics rendering. A faster GPU will make video display smoother, enable advanced desktop enhancements, and allow for smooth(er) video gaming.
Depends on your purpose and Screen size Gaming on 1080p will requires a 250$+ Gpu Gaming on 720P will require 130$+ gpu tell me your system specs and your purpose i will suggest a good one
GPU in mobiles like PC's/Macs/Laptops stands for "Graphics Processing Unit". This is the devices "Graphics card". Due to the size factor of phones the graphics chip (GPU) is often combined with the CPU (Central Processing Unit) which is the "core/brain" of the system. The GPU has its own form of RAM (Random Access Memory) which is optimized for processing visual content on the screen rather than standered programs where the CPU only has to process keyboard input/window switching/button clicks and the like. Of course the CPU still has to do a lot of work alongside the GPU, but without the GPU games would still look like the old super Mario games and fully text based games like alot of the old C64 and lower gen systems.
First I need to know what brand of game card.
iPhone 5's new A6 offers an impressive triple core dedicated GPU
gpu is a graphical processing unit which ables you run high definitions graphics on your PC, which are the demand of modern computing. if you want to run windows vista ultimate edition then it is better if your PC has a gpu. it helps you to get better 3d views. nividia is very well known for it's gpu.
hammer uses Both- GPU to render the scene in, and your CPU to compile the maps and perform calculations.
