Many people think its fake but you can use it! I figured it out just today!
Select a character between Shadow, Super Sonic and Super Shadow.
First you wait until the power gauge is full. Then press the down arrow AFTER you hold the shift key.
Wait till the opponents come close, and release the down arrow while still holding the shift key.
The character shall yell "Chaos blast" and the opponent will be blown away. ^-^
