You can easily see it as it looks like the normal file.
If I were going to format and could'nt i would just buy a larger hard drive and replace the old one
The format command on its own - erases the reference track of the disc - removing the title(s) of any files and marking any used sectors as usable again. Adding the /s tag to the format command has the additional function of copying two (normally hidden) files - Autoexec.bat & Config.sys to the disc once the format command has been executed. This tells the computer that the disc can be used to boot-up the system when it's switched on.
The name of this is really MicroSoft Disc Operating System. At the beginning of the personal computer there was Bill Gates and his partner who developed the "software" to run on the basic computer hardware. In order to "speak" to the computer's (input-output) system there had to be some "commands" to tell it what to do. These commands were typed at a "DOS command prompt" of (C:). The commands were available to print, copy files, view files, edit files etc.
Someone can resolve a unmountable boot volume in the PC by either running windows check disc from the command prompt or by reinstalling windows altogether.
Computers are different so what would restore one may not restores another. It is best to back up all files onto a disc or drive first as this will take the computer back to factory and remove all everything. A majority of computers use holding down F11 while booting to restore.
You go to My Computer and right click Floppy (A)and click Format. A dialog will appear and after selecting the right options for you (quick/full format, label etc.) you click Start.Note: A floppy disk must be in the drive A: for this to work.First you are going to need a command prompt. From the start button win7 in the search field type (cmd). Then from the command prompt type format A:
The DVD ROM will try to read the disc as a DVD or CD and give you a prompt asking what to do. If you open to view files, it will show you the files within the disc. It will not play the disc as a movie or as a game because the computer is not configured to read the files.
If you burn infected files onto an optical disc then those files remain infected and would remain on the optical disc permanently.
The best way to copy files from a computer to a disc is to write the same. Use a burning program to write the disc with the files that you want.
Nothing can be done to done to the files in a finalized CD-R disc.
