There are a number of things children can do to make extra money. Two possible ideas for making money are washing cars for local people or offering to walk dogs for those at work or busy.

I have honest solutions to make up to $1000 in a week or two. Some of the tips take work and effort, but they are guaranteed to work. Here's my two cents worth laid out here: http://tylermj23.hubpages.com/hub/extracashflow
children should work in new york because it develop them and in new York you can make lots of money (make sure some one is watching you like a babysitter or your mom or dad ) (it is very dangerous out in NY)
Some children are rich by inheritance, or by specialized work. Most children have no money of their own until they reach an age when they can earn money.
As you may have noticed, many people try it, but only a few actually do make a lot of money. That means there is really no guaranteed way to make lots of money. If you learn some useful skill, you will have good chances of at least finding work. That won't guarantee "lots of money", but you might have enough to live comfortably.

This depends on where you work. It is in either way a great place to get experience working with children, which looks good on a resume.

I'm in the restaurant business as a janitor and busboy. People work in the restaurant business to try to make money for their own purposes. The ladies I work with are working either to earn money to pay for college or they are moms who need to support their children, or both. I'm in the business to make money for college and emergencies. If you work for the right restaurant, it can be a pretty sweet gig. I make about 200 a weekend. I absolutely love it.
