Hm? You mean Alvin and The Chipmunks? They don't really exist. They're 3D. Just recorded then added 3D Effects or something. I don't really know about that. But, what I do know is that the sound is probably recorded then the recording's "Pitch" is changed. So if the recording of the singing has a normal high note, the "Pitch" will be edited to make it higher so it sounds like a chipmunk. That will give effect of 2x higher "Pitch" then normal.
