And those who expect not a meeting with Us say, 'Why are not the angels sent down to us?' or 'Why do we not see our Lord?' Indeed, they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride." (Qur'an 25:21) The Messenger described Allah, as "His veil is Light, if He unveils it, the Light of His Face will burn all what His Sight reaches (which is everything!)" [Muslim]

Quran 6:103 "No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision..."

When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, he said, 'O Lord! Show Yourself to me so that I may look upon You.' Allah said, 'By no means can you see Me, but look at the mountain - if it abides in its place then you shall see Me.' When his Lord manifested His glory to the mountain, the mountain become dust, and Moses fell down unconscious. When he recovered his senses, he said, 'Glory be to You. To You do I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe'." (Qur'an 7:143)

.... And when they(the people of paradise) are gathered at a beautiful place. all of a sudden a light shines that encompasses all of Paradise. So, they raise their heads, and, behold: the Compeller - Exalted is He, and Holy are His Names - has come to them from above them and majestified them and said: 'O People of Paradise! Peace be upon you!' So, this greeting will not be responded to with anything better than: 'O Allaah! You are Peace, and from You is Peace! Blessed are You, O possessor of Majesty and Honor!' So the Lord - Blessed and Exalted - will laugh to them and say: 'O People of Paradise! Where are those who used to obey Me without having ever seen Me? This is the Day of Increase!'

So, they will all give the same response: 'We are pleased, so be pleased with us!' So, He will say: 'O People of Paradise! If I were not pleased with you, I would not have made you inhabitants of My Paradise! So, ask of Me!' So, they will all give the same response: 'Show us your Face so that we may look at it!' So, the Lord - Mighty and Majestic - will remove his covering and will majestify them and will cover them with His Light, which, if Allaah - the Exalted - had not Willed not to burn them, would have burned them. ..... And remember when you said, O people of Moses, 'We shall never believe in you till we see Allah plainly.' But you were seized with a thunderbolt while you were looking. Then We raised you up after death so that you might be grateful." (Qur'an 2:55)

"The People of the Scripture ask you (O Muhammad) to cause a book to descend upon them from Heaven. Indeed, they asked Moses for even greater than that when they said, 'Show us Allah in public,' but they were struck with thunder and lightening for their wickedness." (Qur'an 4:53)

Refer to the book of Exodus, Chapter 19, verse 21. We can't look at the face of God in our human form or it could kill us. However, we can see evidence of Him all around us and hear His voice.

Can you see the air? God, who is invisible, was incarnated, that is, He became a man, in Jesus Christ and walked among us. The New Testament, particularly the Gospels, written by eyewitnesses and those who knew them, is a witness to this. God also had dealings with the Israelites as recorded in numerous places in the Old Testament. Finally, the creation which God made is most certainly visible and more and more of its wonders are being discovered every day. Finally, the invisible God, who came to earth as a man died for sinful people because of the great love He has for them. He cares. That is enough.

Because He made our eyes with the inability to see spirit. I think it has something to do with the fact that:

"...you cannot see My face, for NO ONE MAY SEE ME AND LIVE." (Ex.33:20)

A:2

God is only invisible to those who don't have the spiritual vision to see him/her.

You may think God the Father is invisible because he does not directly appear before humans. However, he shows himself through his Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Answer

>The living God and Jesus Christ are invisible only to those who have not faith. Faith is a gift of God in direct proportion to righteousness. A righteous life requires a true knowledge and understanding of God's laws and then living those laws day after day, year after year, and in every year striving to be better, righteously, than the year before. Hebrews 11:1 declares, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It is also written that you will receive no witness until after the trial of your faith. And another verse, "……faith without works is dead?"(James 2:20) Which means faith without living the law and serving God is dead and will not save you. Temptation is of the devil and it's so easy to go with the flow, but proving your righteousness is of God, and the reward is to receive eyes to see, clearly, and ears to hear, distinctly, and a mouth to ask wisely, in the light of truth. Contrary to popular belief, in the Christian world many prophets have spoken to the Lord face to face, as a man speaks to another eye to eye, because they proved their worth before God, or to put it simply, they proved they were free agents unto themselves and were not puppet controlled by Satan. I suppose it's a matter of how deep ones faith is. When we get out of bed in the morning we have faith the floor will support us when we stand up. We have faith in scientists who tell us the floor is made up of trillions of atoms we can not see; But hey, our faith was proven correct and now we know, with the advent of photon microscopes, we can see atoms. But then they wanted us to believe that the floor is nothing more than space and that space contains energy that is a trillion time more powerful than nuclear energy. Is your faith still with me? Then, as we get deeper into the reality of matter they want us to believe that when we are not in contact with the floor with any of our senses, the floor is actually not there but away in a parallel universe somewhere. Now, is your faith getting a tad shaky? We now turn to quantum mechanics philosophy which suggests that if one has the faith we can walk on water, or move the odd mountain, or control the elements, and even heal one self of disease. The Lord puts it this way in Matthew 17:20

"……for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." Well whose faith can believe that fantasy hogwash!? But it's true!! Yet only according to a very high degree of righteousness and honour to the living God. So if you want to see God, or you want to receive a witness of God, or a witness of any part of the Gospel, then repent and strive with all your heart to be perfectly righteous in all your doings. Faith will lead to the authority to make it happen, and most people can do it. I know this to be true.>

Just because air is invisible, will you stop believing in air? Will you stop acknowledging the importance of oxygen that you breathe in just because you can't see it? How can you ignore the importance of air? Just like we know that air is vital for our life, God who is invisible is vital for our life. In fact, God is everywhere, God is everything. The heart that is beating has to have a power. In a computer you have a battery or an electrical cord, but what is the energy that makes our heart beat? It is God who lives in the temple of our heart. Everything that has power in this universe has power because of the Creator, the Divine we call God. Because we have misunderstood the meaning of God, we think we should not believe in God. But without God we are nothing, our life is nothing.

Well, God is spirit. Therefore, He is invisible. Though, His invisible attributes are clearly seen through the things He created (Romans 1:20).
