Try disabling antivirus or firewall software. I don't know what game developers and publishers think they can get away with these days, but it seems like not much works with GGuard anymore. Too many advanced AV protocols, Gguard crashes my system usually. If I'm lucky, i can get past the BSOD and get it rebooted quickly.
