My 2001 Honda Civic LX low beams went out and only the high beams worked. I checked with my local Honda Dealer and there is a recall on certain vin numbers. Mine was on the recall list. The dealer repair it at no charge to me.
yes,4 separate bulbs,2high beam-2 low beam
Bulbs burned out?
yes both are same
you can get to the low beams without taking the headlight out. same goes for high beam and turn signal....need to take healights out to change halo bulbs....bumper comes off to get healights out...yes bumper has to come off to change the halo bulbs.
there are two diff types of bulbs. High beam and low beam bulbs. If your low beam doesn't work then you need to replace those lights because they are probably blown.
Because there are two light bulbs and the low beam bulb is burned out
the bulbs in your car have two filaments, high beam and low beam. as you generally use mainly low beam the filament wears out a lot quicker than high beam. so replace your bulbs, as it couldn't be anything else.
Check the low beam bulbs to insure that they have not burned out. Check for a low beam fuse, then check to see if the dimmer switch is bad.
H11B Low beam. H1 High beam.
it takes an H7 low beam bulb it takes an H7 low beam bulb
low beam h7 high beam h9
Camry 1999 has only on bulb for both low and high beams.
Are you running HIDs for your low beams? If so, HID bulbs take some time to warm back up after being shut off, and you really should be running a quad beam harness.
Bulbs, fuse, wires ,switch.
Check fusesCheck bulbsCheck wiringCheck high-beam/low-beam switchMost likely its fuse or bulbs. If bulbs, see sources and related links below.
you only need two bulbs as each bulb has high and low.
Most likely is that one or both of the bulbs have failed. Many cars use separate bulbs for low beam and high beam, so one set failing will not stop the other. Once you have replaced the bulbs, if they are still not working check: Fuses Wiring, especially the earth connection at the bulb holder Switch
NO. the 99, 00, and 01 lhs have 3 bulbs in the headlight, a blinker, high beam and low beam. The Concorde 02,03, & 04 will interchange/work. The 2000 Concorde has only 2 bulbs (high and low beam)...
h7 for low beam h1 for fog lights
Open the hood and remove the two candy cane shaped pins. The headlight assembly will now be able to be removed. Quarter turn the bulbs and they come right out.
As silly as it sounds, both low beam bulbs are most likely blown. If not, check switch in the steering column.
If the high beams are working and the fog lams work the only answer that makes sense is that both low beam bulbs are burned out.
the bulbs used are 2-in-1 high-low beam bulbs if your high beam isn't working try rewplacing the bulb if that doesn't do it check the wiring or your fuses
