Where is the radiator fan relay at on a 2000 Plymouth voyager
If the fan does not stop running after the engine is shut off in the Renault Scenic 2000, there could be a problem with the fan relay switch. The fan relay switch is located in the fuse box.
It's a 36mm
radiator fan relay has failed. It is found in the fuse box under the hood.
I just changed the water pump on a 2000 olds bravada, v6 engine. To actually change one you have to take off a lot of components. the fan, the clutch fan assembly, and the serpentine belt. The pulley that makes the fan go, is connected to the water pump. There are two radiator looking hoses connected to the top of the water pump. The best bet if you are going to repair it is to research and read the Haynes manual on it.
fan on my furnace will not shut off. smash it up then
A faulty fan relay switch is likely the problem if the fan continues to run after the engine is shut off. Production for the Renault Scenic began in 1996.
The 2000 Chevy Cavalier cooling fan shroud is held in place with 10 retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts and the cooling fan shroud will come off.
When 1990 Honda is running cooling fan does not come on but comes on when engine is off and I thermostat and temperature switch changed?"
If it is an electric fan, it may continue to run after the engine is shut off until the engine temperature drops below a certain point. This is normal and the fan should shut off after a while (definitely not longer than 20-30 minutes after the engine is stopped). If the fan continues to run for hours after the engine is shut down, then there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Disconnect the battery until the vehicle can be serviced.
On some makes of vehicle, the engine fan is supposed to keep running after the engine is shut off, if it was operating on a long trip on a hot day, for example. Come back to the car in 10-15 minutes. If the fan is still running, you have a problem. If it has shut off, all is well.
It is likely the duct work how ever it can be the fan has come off the fan motor
