If it is an electric fan, it may continue to run after the engine is shut off until the engine temperature drops below a certain point. This is normal and the fan should shut off after a while (definitely not longer than 20-30 minutes after the engine is stopped). If the fan continues to run for hours after the engine is shut down, then there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Disconnect the battery until the vehicle can be serviced.
Turn it off.
Check the owner's manual.
The dealer can turn it off with a scan tool.
The fan should turn off after the engine is shut off. If it stays on, the radiator fan relay has failed.
at the bottom of the radiator, just put some pliers on it and turn, it will start to drain out so make sure that you have something to catch it all in.
how do i change driver side turn signal bulb on 1992 dodge caravan?
If it is the heater fan, there is a short in the wiring. If you mean the cooling fan on the radiator, it is normal with some vehicles.
you need to replace your fan relay switch, in my 2000 caravan i had to remove thel left head light to reach it
