How come you don't get as aroused now as you did in the beginning of your relationship?

A relationship can move to a phase where the passion starts to be replaced by a more mature attraction. For some the reduction in passion will result in the termination of the relationship because there isn't really enough mature love for the relationship to continue. It could be that the passion is diminished because of some unresolved tension between the two of you. Sexual arousal is a result of several factors, including mystery. If we know little about someone, the prospect of having sex with them can be very arousing. After we have gotten to know someone well, that factor is no longer as powerful. The frequency of sexual activity can also affect the level of arousal we experience. If a person has been having sex several times a day for a week, their level of arousal will probably be less than if they have not had sex for a week.
