I don't believe that retail stores accept Xbox's any longer and you're likely to only get about $20 for it... so... I would keep your old one... save up some money and get the new one... maybe put it in your birthday / Christmas list too... if you don't get it within the first year or 2 that you requested it, ask your parents.
