She couldn't. At least not openly or within the boundaries of state laws. In rare cases Family Court hears cases of a minor wanting to be emancipated. And even rarer cases grants the petition. How exactly could a 16 year old with a child survive? How would she finish her education (or would she). Support herself and her child? Even if those issues (and many others) were surmountable. The court simply would not allow a minor, take custody of a baby and attempt living on their own.
Exactly where would you live? Would you sneak into her bedroom window to spend the night? If she's living on her own, than she emancipated.
They could. It'd be up to your own judgement to want a 15 old to watch a two year old or not.
No, in most case a 16 year old cannot hire their own attorney without the consent of their parent. This is unless the law of the state that the child is living in, dictates otherwise.
It depends if the 17 year old is emancipated and living on their own. They have proven themselves to be an adult and responsible for their own actions. If he is still at home with his parents you should take it to court.
Yes a 12 year old can own his/her own business.
Criminally, no. An adult, whether they're living with their parents or not, is fully responsible for them self. The eighteen-year-old, and he alone, can and will be held responsible for their own actions. In civil matters, it may depend on the circumstance. If the parent co-signed on any kind of loan or payment for the eighteen-year-old, and the eighteen-year-old does not keep up with the payments, the cosigner can be held responsible for those payments.
IF THE 18 YEAR OLD IS STILL LIVING @ HOME HE CAN HAVE AN UMBRELLA POLICY UNDER THE PARENTS. IF HE IS NOT LIVING @ HOME AN EMANCIPATED HE COULD OBTAIN HIS OWN UMBRELLA. EACH STATE HAS ITS OWN LAWS CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AGENT.
The parents could have kicked their daughter out at age 18. At 21 she is a young woman and should not even be living at home unless she is going to college and cannot afford a place of her own. Otherwise she should be out on her own and experiencing independence and have her own place to live.
A twelve-year-old could study the Scriptures, both Hebrew and Christian, and seek out other good books about the faith. A twelve-year-old could also attend worship and church school classes on a regular basis.
Absolutly all both children need is to have a babysitting liscense with red cross. In fact the 10 and 12 year olds could babysit on there own if they would like.
It takes them 18 Months to start living on their own.
If the 18 year old is living in his own house, which he owns, perhaps not. If the 18 yr-old is living in his parent's house, yup. If the 18 year old wants privacy in his room, he needs to get out of his parents' house and buy his own house or get an apartment. That is the way the 18 year old gets a key to a door that his or her parents can't unlock. In short, if you want to be treated like a grown up, you have to be one. Just this question is evidence that the growing up has not yet happened. a mom (living with an 18 year old who has grown up enough to know the answer to this question) If this question is a legal question, the answer is still the same: Yes, a parent can go in!
