How could a perfect God create something not perfect - If God cannot sin how could he create sin - If God cannot lie how could he create something that could lie?

God is love and love gives the human free will so we can choose what we do or not do, thus imperfection leads to sin. The saying, "God allowed an event to happen" is not literal. It really means God's gift of 'free will' gave the human a choice to do the right or wrong thing. Thus sin.

After a lot of research into the various religious beliefs of the highly commercialized regions of the world, I have come to the rational conclusion that God was created in the image and likeness of the rulers of that particular geographic location.

These rulers, through their advisors, created religions that targeted the fears of the people at the particular time. These advisors were similar to the marketing consultants and advertising specialists of today. The wealthy people found creative ways of keep the working-class people (slaves) obedient to their whim and fancy.

The working class people were threatened with eternal damnation for disobedience to the divine laws and instructions of an invisible authority called God. This God has created you in his image and likeness to obey and serve him with blind faith. This God choose special servants to be his messengers to his humble and obedient subjects. This God also commands that his loyal slaves must kill all those who do not obey his commandments.

From the research that I have done on the subject, I am of the opinion that those characters who came up with this God-Satan combination did not expect that the society would one day demand explanations.

The to this question is relatively simple. God did not create something that was not perfect. God did not create sin. God did not create lies but He did create a creature with a free will who was perfect but who chose to lie, to become imperfect, to sin.

This may be difficult for some to grasp, but it would be hard to imagine a world where all were slaves and robots, with not the slightest possibility of sin, and then also of love and emotion, of joy or delight of any kind. Evidently, the possibility of sin was the price for free-will that God believe worth the eventual cost. And He knew it would eventually cost Him the life of His only Son, Jesus Christ, who dies a cruel death on the cross of Calvary. He die for all, including all those who hate Him and try to reason Him away. He died for also those who don't understand that The Bible encourages thought rather than stifles it. The Bible knows absolutely nothing of blind faith. In the beginning, Adam and Eve had clear instructions. They could have sought clarification, but they didn't. They could have checked out if what the serpent said was true, but they didn't. They found out that the serpent lied and God was true, the hard way, and we suffer the consequences. If there are misguided Christians anywhere who promote such a thing as 'blind faith' then they have not read their Bible. In mine it says 'prove everything' which some translate as 'test everything.' This would also include testing the results of Godless philosophies. The 20th century has a good record of that.

In short, God created the possibility for humans to sin because He believed it worthwhile to have people who really loved Him and not robots. Their would be many different ways to describe how this is so. But anyone who has ever been lost, and knows they were lost, also knows how good it is to be found.
