If it has no camera on the front or back it is a first generation model.
The original iPad, just know as the iPad was first, then came the iPad 2. The latest model is known as New iPad. (not iPad 3 or iPad HD or ????).
Some people call it the iPad 3, but Apple's third-generation iPad is know officially as "New iPad".
If you are considering purchasing an iPad and want to know how much more expensive iPad 2s are compared to the first generations, the answer would be a little more expensive.
I would say wait till march and get the iPad 3.
We generally don't know. The 1st generation iPad was first released January 2010 while the iPad 2 was launched on March 2011. The iPad 3 was made available in March 2012. If we follow the "pattern" we can anticipated the iPad 5 to be released by early to middle of 2013.
The First generation iPad is may come down in price when the second generation iPad is released and out for sale. That is expected around March 2011, however, it is also predicted that the iPad will have less memory.
well, it depends. when did you buy the iPod touch. if you bought it after September 2009, it means its the 3rd generation. that should have voice memos included as on of the apps. if you bought it before September 2009 it means its the 2ndgeneration. it should not have voice memos. if the iPod touch has only about 5 apps on the sticker, its the 1st generation. Hope that helped!
iPad 3* Anyways if you have time to post that, just go to Apple, the company that SELLS iPad, and go to iPad and go to buy. You do know that just because you click "buy," you don't have to actually buy it.
By the Model number and it will have 4 USB ports if it is even close to first Generation.
The iPad 2 was just the second generation update of the original iPad. The iPod Touch and the iPad actually apparently started development at the same time, born from the idea of Steve Jobs, for an Internet capable device combined with an iPod. However, when the idea to combine that with the technology of a cell phone/smartphone was developed, (what would soon become the first iPhone,) the idea for the iPad was shelved, and the iPhone was released. The original idea for the PDA device, the parallel for the iPhone, (a.k.a., the iPod Touch,) was released in December 2007, the same year. Approximately two years later, the iPad was put back into development by Steve Jobs, and in March 2010, the iPad was unveiled and released. Then one year later, in March 2011, Apple, under Steve Jobs, released the iPad 2. Now in March 2012, Tim Cook unveiled the new iPad, or the iPad 3rd Generation. I know that I may be kind of annoying, rambling on on the history of the iPad, but you sort of have to know all of that to know the answer to your question. Hope this helps! SeanHolshouser
it doesnt have speakers
If you wanted to know the specs of an iPad you could go to an Apple store. You can also go online and search for the specs and there will be many websites that can show you these.
