An estuary is where the fresh water of a river mets with the salty oceanic water of the ocean. Also with the current of the river flowing into the ocean it brings lots of sediment with it. When these settle they make a pattern into the estuarys floor...also the patterns depend in ocean waves, weather and stuff. Animaqls that live in estuarys are Bay fish, lesser, Peregrine, River otter and those are just a few. oh and some plants are Glass wort, sea lavender and Black needle rush.. but that may depend. that may not be for all estuarys >.<
